Hosted at Coway’s Seletar Aerospace facility, the session brought together Gen II leaders for an afternoon of learning, sharing, and reflection. Through a candid roundtable dialogue, participants exchanged experiences on retaining skilled employees in today’s competitive labour market, attracting young talent into manufacturing, and ensuring smooth succession planning within family-led enterprises.

SPETA and JTC Corporation welcomed industry leaders to Industry Upclose at JID, highlighting how Singapore is supporting precision engineering and advanced manufacturing companies to innovate and grow. Participants toured Bulim Square, learning from pioneering tenants like Makino Asia Group and gaining practical insights on leasing, operations, and leveraging the broader Innovation Estates network. At recent ITE Graduation Ceremony, SPETA was a proud sponsor of the Singapore Precision Engineering And Technology Association Gold Medal presented by Desmond Lee, Minister for Education, and the Minister-in-Charge of Social Services Integration to Muhammad Nur'Iman Bin Badrul Hesham, who was also awarded the Bronze Course Medal at ITE WSDip Graduation Ceremony in 2024.
Iman is now an Assistant Maintenance Engineer overseeing corrective and preventative maintenance of defectivity and metrology tools at STMicroelectronics. Iman has shown strong perseverance and even implemented a solution that protected engineers from exposure to high voltages during maintenance work.
