As part of the M2030 Careers Initiative, and supported by Enterprise Singapore, SPETA and the Institute for HR Professionals (IHRP) have jointly developed and released the Manufacturing Employer Handbook which aims to support Singapore manufacturing companies interested to attract, hire and retain locals.
The Handbook addresses the common talent attraction and retention challenges in the Manufacturing (including Precision Engineering) sector, providing frameworks, resources and case studies on the following human resource strategies to prevent talent leakage and better retain employees:
- Developing a compelling Employee Value Proposition
- Engaging early career professionals
- Fostering a culture for an engaged workforce
- Providing growth opportunities for a long-term career
The Handbook will offer Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) tailored solutions to uplift their human capital practices to better support business growth.
