Strengthening Connections through Meaningful Industry Conversations
Industry transformation does not happen in isolation—it happens through consistent, honest dialogue among those shaping the ecosystem.
SPETA recently hosted the inaugural Tea with SPETA, a curated small-group engagement designed to foster open and meaningful conversations with our members.

The session brought together business leaders across Singapore's Precision Engineering and manufacturing value chain to exchange perspectives on current market conditions, business challenges, workforce development and opportunities within the industry.
One key topic discussed was Human Capital. Members shared common challenges in attracting and retaining talent, developing employees' capabilities and preparing their businesses for industry changes. The discussion highlighted the importance of workforce development alongside technological advancement.

Working closely with our industry and government partners, SPETA continues to support programmes such as the Career Conversion Programme (CCP) and other workforce development initiatives that help companies strengthen their workforce and build capabilities.
We would like to thank the participating companies for taking the time to contribute to this inaugural discussion. Your perspectives are invaluable in helping us better understand industry needs and priorities.
We look forward to hosting more Tea with SPETA sessions and continuing these meaningful conversations with our members.
