In alignment with the national rollout of the Tripartite Guidelines on Flexible Work Arrangement Requests (TG-FWAR), SPETA partnered with Singapore Polytechnic to develop and launch the Precision Engineering Sectoral Guide to Flexible Work Arrangements (FWAs) for the Precision Engineering and Manufacturing community.
The guide addresses evolving workforce expectations in an increasingly competitive labour market, where Singapore’s unemployment rate of 1.8% highlights the need for companies to strengthen their employer value proposition. Designed as a practical and actionable reference, the guide supports organisations in formalising FWAs to enhance talent attraction, retention, and operational resilience.
