Reimagining Space for Growth
In land-scarce Singapore, space is a precious commodity. Especially for manufacturing.
As the regional manufacturing landscape rapidly evolves, so too have the needs of our precision engineering and manufacturing companies. With the rise of advanced technologies, robotics, and now AI, the industry is transforming at an unprecedented pace.
Yet amidst all this change, one thing remains constant: the need for physical space to innovate, test, and build. Every breakthrough still needs a workshop, an enchanting table for magic to happen.
Thankfully, agencies like JTC Corporation continue to champion our local manufacturing ecosystem.
We are grateful for their visit and insightful sharing on upcoming developments across the island. For example, the 150ha Bulim precinct, which is within Jurong Innovation District (JID), a state-of-the-art campus where high-tech firms can collaborate.
More importantly, we appreciate their commitment to engage the PE / manufacturing community through listening, learning, and co-creating spaces that empower manufacturing to thrive.
Special thanks to Christine Wong, Yvonne Lim, Wee Lee, LIM, Peijun Xu and Jessica Chen for a productive meeting.
We look forward to continued collaboration and deeper engagement between JTC and the wider SPETA community.
