A New Chapter, A Shared Journey Forward...
SPETA successfully held our 43rd Annual General Meeting on 10 April 2025 at Raffles Town Club.
In 2024, SPETA focused on championing sustainability, advancing human capital development, and forging deeper partnerships with government agencies, industry stakeholders, IHLs. These efforts are central to supporting our members' growth—both locally and internationally.
This AGM also marked the end of the 2023-2025 term of office for our Council. We expressed our deep appreciation to Council members for their dedication and leadership. Tokens of appreciation were presented to council members who are stepping down, and also to Ms. Elise Hong who has completed her term as Chairman.
The AGM also voted in the new 2025-2027 Council with overwhelming support from show of hands. Mr. Steven Toy was elected as SPETA’s new Chairman, who will the lead the new Council forward.
Chairman’s Message
“Dear Members and Partners,
In these times of geopolitical tension and market uncertainty, SPETA is committed to standing by you. We will continue to work closely with government agencies and industry partners to identify timely, practical measures to support the industry.
We also encourage members to actively engage with us, so we can better understand your needs and tailor our support more effectively.
As the manufacturing landscape evolves, SPETA remains a dedicated partner in your transformation journey. Whether in technology, talent development, or market access.
Together, with likeminded industry partners, we can navigate the challenges and seize new opportunities ahead.”
Steven Toy
