As part of the SPETA Second Generation Leadership Programme (SGLP), we deep-dived into the technologies and innovations shaping our industry’s next phase of growth.

A*STAR Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (A*STAR SIMTech) spotlighted key industry pillars, including semiconductors, aerospace, energy, biomed, digital transformation, highlighting how digitalisation, automation, and emerging technologies are driving competitiveness in a fast-evolving global landscape. They also unpacked trends and practical initiatives across each pillar, from digital transformation to funding support and supplier development strategies. Participants actively exchanged insights on challenges, opportunities, and ways to apply technology-driven solutions within their own organisations.

We were also pleased to welcome a guest speaker from Enterprise Singapore, Mr. Soh Leng Wan, who emphasised the importance of balancing innovation with business objectives, and the need for companies to remain sustainable and competitive amid current global headwinds impacting advanced manufacturing.

Through this interactive session, the Gen II PE leaders gained valuable insights and practical takeaways to drive transformation, champion digital initiatives, and foster sustainable growth within their organisations.
