In the second part of our technology-focused sessions, participants of SPETA Gen2 Leadership Programme (SGLP) explored how AI and advanced technologies are driving sustainability and competitiveness in the PE sector🤖
Participants examined how automation, smart factory systems, and digital tools enhance productivity, product quality, and decision-making, all while supporting sustainable business practices. The session emphasised the importance of integrating technology with strategy to remain competitive in today’s rapidly evolving manufacturing landscape.

In partnership with the Advanced Manufacturing Centre (AMC) at Singapore Polytechnic, the leaders observed firsthand how robotics, digital twins, and smart factory systems are applied to optimise operations and scale innovation.

The session featured Hon Yong MOK from Onn Wah Tech Pte Ltd, Lawrence Lim of DS Factory, Bhavana Gupta of DX Catalysts who shared insights on how the convergence of technologies and automation drives productivity, resilience, and competitiveness in the PE sector. Discussions also highlighted the growing role of sustainability and AI tools in improving efficiency, product quality, and decision-making processes.
