GRT Appreciation Lunch
On 31st March 2023, SPETA organised a successful appreciation and networking lunch for our Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) partners and member companies.
We were glad to provide a platform for valuable networking opportunity to take place for 16 of our member companies and key representatives from 8 different IHLs to gather together and expand their professional networks to potentially collaborate with one another in providing attractive and enriching local internship opportunities for young talents in the Precision Engineering (PE) industry.
Mr Simon Lim opened the session to share with the group on SPETA’s vision and our future direction as a TAC.
Ms Clarissa Lim also shared how members can tap on various resources in uplifting our sector’s attractiveness to the young and local hires to ensure a sustainable pipeline of talent for the PE industry, including the Global Ready Talent (GRT) Programme, Career Conversion Programme (CCP), and Human Capital Learning Circles to improve their HR practices.
We would like to extend our appreciation for our partners’, Enterprise Singapore and Employment & Employability Institute, e2i for their participation and support at the event.
