STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGIES AND SOLUTIONS FOR MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY

SPETA is delighted to partner Messe Düsseldorf Asia for the Fifth edition of MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA (MMA) – a dedicated trade fair for the MedTech players in Singapore and the region to showcase their expertise, capabilities, and high-quality products, and to share best practices. The show was co-located with Medical Fair Asia, the No. 1 medical and healthcare exhibition in Southeast Asia with a focus on the equipment and supplies for the hospital, diagnostic, pharmaceutical, medical and rehabilitation sectors.

After 2 years of absence, the show returned with a bang on 31st Aug, and was graced by Minister Gan Kim Yong, Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Singapore continues to be the most sought-after location for MedTech companies looking for a place to anchor their presence in Asia. The country is now home to more than 60 multinational MedTech companies representing a range of diverse activities from manufacturing to research and development.

Singapore’s strong design and engineering competencies, robust manufacturing capabilities and high-quality assurance standards to undertake the manufacturing of high-value medical products, serve as strong value propositions for MedTech companies to grow their operations here.

Against this backdrop, MMA could not be timelier as it continues to strengthen its foothold as the region’s specialist platform for the MedTech, manufacturing processes and related sectors.

This year the exhibition saw 100 MedTech companies from 18 countries and regions, including national and group pavilions from Austria, Germany, Japan, USA, and of course Singapore – all testament to Singapore’s prime position as a high-value MedTech manufacturing base for the region.

SPETA was proud to host more than 50 Singapore-based companies under the Singapore Pavilions for MMA and Medical Fair Asia, with support from Enterprise Singapore.

We are already looking forward to the next edition in 2024!
